As a Legal Assistant at the firm, Joséphine Rousseau provides the legal team with rigorous support in case management, legal drafting and court proceedings. Her experience has been gained through work in leading law firms and organisations handling complex legal and administrative matters.
Holding a Master’s degree in Business Law from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University, Joséphine has developed solid experience in the management of insolvency proceedings. She has assisted with legal research, drafted legal memoranda, monitored proceedings and attended hearings relating to insolvency, liquidation and asset sales, working alongside banks, judicial administrators and insolvency practitioners. She also gained experience within a commercial litigation practice, where she contributed to legal research and the management of litigation files.
Her professional background also includes experience in adult guardianship matters, where she was responsible for the administrative and financial management of guardianship cases, the drafting of reports for the Guardianship Court, and the coordination of all parties involved, including court registries, public bodies and families.
Committed to the protection of individual rights, Joséphine has also volunteered in criminal law, assisting with the administration of victims’ cases, conducting legal monitoring and contributing to a legal awareness programme for schools.
