Stéphane Heit

Called to the Bar in 1996, Stéphane Heit advises and represents companies, professional organisations and business leaders in matters relating to economic law, business mediation and social dialogue. Combining legal expertise with an in-depth understanding of institutional relations and economic realities, he assists clients in addressing complex strategic matters.

Drawing on nearly thirty years of experience, Stéphane adopts a comprehensive approach to every case, taking into account not only the legal aspects but also the commercial, financial and reputational implications for his clients. His practice is built on pragmatism, anticipation and long-term relationships founded on trust.

Business mediation plays a central role in his practice. Convinced that negotiated solutions often provide the most effective and sustainable outcome, he assists businesses in preventing and resolving disputes while preserving commercial relationships. His ability to analyse negotiating dynamics and restore dialogue where communication has broken down enables clients to safeguard both their business interests and strategic partnerships.

His extensive knowledge of social dialogue, developed through years of close collaboration with employers’ organisations and trade unions, enables him to anticipate negotiation challenges, understand the positions of all stakeholders and support clients in their relationships with employee representatives.

Alongside his legal practice, Stéphane Heit holds several senior positions within France’s leading economic and social institutions. As National Vice-President of Les Entrepreneurs (formerly CPME), Member of the Executive Board of the French Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE) and Chairman of several joint social security bodies, he has developed a thorough understanding of public policy, institutional governance and social dialogue mechanisms, which he places at the service of his clients.
